La Mystere is an exquisite Diamonte Futurity winning daughter who has produced 3 awesome males for us out of Balboa. There are few alpacas who seem to know they are diva's, but we have two, La Mystere and First Lady, both out of PVA's magnificant herd, whose consistent quality is known by all Suri breeders. First Lady and Balboa produced a juvi RC at the CABO show in Feb. and La Mystere and Balboa produced our other RC at the CABO show. Look for more on Rosebud and Gold Doubloon, who was a blue ribbon winner at AOBA last year and will be at shows this spring shown by Erin Williams and Karen Biscella. Rosebud is still a juvi and so much fun in the herd that I am reluctant to let her go to spring shows so we may wait until fall for her to come out more. When I post photos of La Mystere, you will understand. Like her sire, she has a blaze of white bangs but she is fawn except for these beautiful bangs. Her first son is a rich medium brown with a white lightening streak on him, hence he is named Bazinga. Doubie is her second son and is much like his dam in coloration. Moonlight Mystery, nicknamed Pinkachew, after his favorite Pokemon and that little pink nose that was constantly chewing hay, never still for a second and who had herdsire attitude at a month of age. He was confident like his dam and her sire and he was sure he was the up and coming herdsire on the farm before he even took a good look around to see that others were standing in line. I won't go into the fiber information because there is nothing to say other than look at the ancestry and their records, because the it's not an apple falling from a tree in this case, but the cria doesn't fall too far from the parents. La Mystere is a true DIVA! And Doubie did win JC at Buckeye and AOBA CC in 2013 so, the proof is in the progeny. This fall, we expect another La Mystere-Balboa cria and we hope we will get a girl this time. Even retiring, we hope to keep a small number of alpacas because I can't imagine life without them. And La Mystere is so striking that I can't imagine not seeing her in the barn.
